LIBANO: MEETING OF SOLIDARITY WITH VENEZUELA IN BEIRUT AND AGAINST THE US POLICIES OF BLOCKADE

The 17^th of April was the day of solidarity with Venezuela in Beirut. The National Federation of workers in Lebanon (FENASOL), The Peace organization, the association “Equality-Wardah Boutros for Women Rights”, the UJDL (youth) and the Lebanese organization of FISE (teachers) have made a meeting with the presence of the Ambassador of Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Zoed Karam, the deputy General Secretary of Lebanese Communist Party, Dr,. Marie Nassif-Debs and the  representatives of youth, women trade-unions, and political organizations.

The speeches were unanimous in condemning interference policy of the United States and the political and economic blockade that Washington is trying to impose the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. They also condemn the US plot to change the regime in Venezuela, because of its  struggle against the imperialist policies of Washington and gives help to people who fight for independence and sovereignty.

The representatives of parties and mass organizations highlight the achievements made by the revolution as well as the relationship between Venezuela and the Cuban Revolution. In the same time, they highlight the positions of the government and the people of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in support to the Arab peoples, especially their support to the Palestinian cause.
