Lebanese Communist Party condemns the terrorist attack on the town of Ersal and the Lebanese army, and calls for a broader national movement to prevent sedition and the elimination of terrorism. |
The Political Bureau of the Lebanese Communist Party condemned in a
statement the criminal attack on the Lebanese army and the town of Ersal
and towns in the region of Baalbek-Hermel practiced by criminal gangs,
which led to the death and injury of a number of soldiers and locals.
The Communist Party affirmed that what is happening is a complete and
integrated crime with the Zionist aggression on Gaza and mainly targets
the spread of Zionist thought and frames in the region.
The Party believed that the absence of the state requires maximum
popular solidarity by the people of the area with the army and the full
wrap around it.
The Party salutes the spirit of solidarity shown by the people of
Ersal and their integration with the army and considered that this
practice alone ensures the elimination of the goal of the criminal
forces represented by converting the conflict into an internal conflict
with sectarian and doctrinal character.
The Party renews under these dangers its support of the army and
security forces and its call to patriotic belonging, and considered that
the time has come to a quick call to a rescue step to liberate the
country from the atmosphere of the sectarian and doctrinal divide, and
finish with sectarianism formulas.
The sectarianism formulas make up the incubating
environment for such projects, and saw that this can be mainly achieved
through the exclusion of any attempt to renew the system or the
extension of the inactive parliament, and the election of the Council
formulating a constituent body on the basis of the “proportional”
outside the sectarian constraint.
The Lebanese Communist Party saluted the martyrs of the
army, and wished the injured a quick recovery.
Moreover, The Lebanese Communist Party calls the IMCWP, and all "the
Arab Left Forum" parties to all forms of solidarity with the Lebanese
people in the face of terrorism, its sponsors and supporters.
